Mobile Company Jolla Set to Enter Indian Market.

New look and Stylish Jolla set to hit Indian Market

Jolla, the handset makers once parted from Nokia in 2011, formed by the Ex-Nokia employees are set to hit the Indian Market with its own 'Sailfish OS Smartphone' on snapdeal.com, company confirmed on Friday, reported CNET.



A group of engineers who were let go by Nokia, decided to use Nokia's discarded Meego software to create a new mobile phone Operating System to challenge the likes of Samsung and Apple.

Jolla signing an agreement with snapdeal.com, to sell its smartphone, also called Jolla is to be released in Indian market within a month.



Sailfish OS, acts as open-source alternative to Google's Android mobile operating system and works with existing android smartphones and tablets. Jolla claims that it is more secure OS for those seeking privacy.

Jolla, has modified Sailfish to make it as gesture-sensitive as possible, bringing in another great feature and attractive look. There are no nagivation buttons on the Jolla Phones so various gestures are used to navigate the phone.
